The case was taken up on 15th May 2026 with a rank of 7 . Due to this ranking, they were not able to secure loans. They approached Kenstone for improvement in their CMR ranking.
Upon analysing their report, it was found that the rank was primarily impacted by two delinquent Axis Bank accounts. A dispute was immediately raised and a formal request was sent to Axis Bank seeking correction and clearance of the delinquency status.
During the review process, another delinquent account from HDFC Bank was identified around 25th May. The client had already cleared the dues on this account, but the bureau records had not been updated. A separate dispute was raised to rectify this discrepancy.
Upon successful clearance of all three delinquent accounts, the client’s credit profile improved significantly. As a result, the rank improved from 7 to 5 within just 15 days , reflecting the positive impact of removing incorrectly reported delinquencies and updating the credit report accurately.
